Day 1

Sit back and relax as we head to our first stop, the most famous of Frank Lloyd Wright homes, Fallingwater. This masterpiece of architecture was built over a waterfall and has been named a world-heritage site by UNESCO. Here we will enjoy a boxed lunch before heading to our next home by the famous designer, Kentuck Knob. Designed on a hexagonal module, this home is a small, one-story, Usonian house. Usonian, meaning affordable for the average American, was a signature design of Frank Lloyd Wright. Our lodging for this evening will be in Donegal, PA. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Following breakfast, we will depart for the Lincoln Highway Experience. This museum is dedicated to telling the story of the Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental automobile route linking the east and west coasts of the United States. Our self-guided tour ends at a restored 1938 diner where we will enjoy a piece of pie and coffee. Afterward, we will head to Tara ~ A Country Inn, which is themed after the movie "Gone with the Wind". Here we'll have lunch and a guided tour of the inn. Our lodging this evening will be in Mercer, PA and dinner will be on your own near the hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, we visit the Drake Well Museum in Titusville, PA, the birthplace of the oil industry. The museum's 240-acre site features a board-for-board replica of Edwin L. Drake's engine house, operating oil field machinery, 12,000 square feet of interior exhibits, and the largest artifact & archival collection focused on the birth of the modern petroleum industry. Next, we will hop aboard the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad for an excursion through the Oil Creek Valley. A boxed lunch is included before our train ride. We will then depart for home. With stops for rest & dinner enroute, our arrival home is scheduled for late evening.
