Thanksgiving at the Christmas Farm Inn & Spa

Day 1

Today we depart for Jackson, NH. With stops for rest and lunch enroute, we'll arrive at The Christmas Farm Inn by early evening. This charming inn offers resort-style amenities, is family-owned, and dedicated to providing a quintessential New England experience. They offer first-class hotel accommodations, wholesome country cuisine, and exceptional caring service. Dinner will be included at the inn this evening.

Day 2

After an included breakfast, we will depart for a visit to The Rocks Estate, a 1,400-acre forest reservation owned & managed by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. Here we will enjoy a wreath making workshop. We'll head back to Jackson for lunch on our own and a visit to White Mountain Puzzles. We'll return to the inn to freshen up prior to a late afternoon sleigh ride aboard a custom Austrian sleigh pulled by magnificent 2,000-pound horses. Enjoy the winter wonderland as the sleigh bells are jingling, music chimes in the background, and the majestic snow-capped mountains surround you. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Day 3

Enjoy breakfast at the inn before we depart for a ride on the Cog Railway. This 1-hour, round-trip ride will take us about 4,000 feet up Mount Washington to Waumbeck Station, providing awesome views of the countryside! Lunch will be on our own. This afternoon we will visit Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel where we will tour the kennel, meet the amazing canine athletes, and see the gear used with sled dog teams. After, we'll return to the inn to relax and freshen up prior to an included Thanksgiving dinner at the inn.

Day 4

Following breakfast, we'll check-out and depart for home. With stops for rest and lunch enroute, arrival home is scheduled for early evening.

Know the Difference Between Traditional Rooms and Carriage House Suites

Traditional Rooms in the Main Inn, built in 1786, will transport you to a simpler time, where old-fashioned hospitality is the order of the day. From the rich burnish of the wide-plank floors to the authentic wood-fueled fireplace, the Main Inn houses nine guest rooms, each unique and one-of-a-kind. All have air-conditioning, private baths, telephones, and flat-screen TVs. You'll love the large, comfortable living room (shared), where you can gather around a crackling fire on chilly mornings…as the inviting smell of home baked goodies wind their way from the kitchen. Complimentary coffee is available and you can enjoy it as you take in the mountain views from a rocking-chair on the front porch. The cozy Mistletoe Pub and the dining room are located in the Main Inn.

The Carriage House Suites are set high on a hillside above the Main Inn. It has a central Great Room with a massive stone fireplace. All Carriage House Suites offer the same amenities: large bedroom with a King bed, a separate sitting room with private balcony, gas fireplace in the sitting room, large bathroom with Jacuzzi bath tub and walk-in shower, flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, sink and wet bar, coffee maker, radio clock, telephone, iron and iron board, hair dryer, and air conditioning. The Carriage House is also home to the Aveda Spa with 6 treatment rooms. Get pampered in the manicure and pedicure salon, or choose from a myriad of facial, massage, hot stone, and spa treatments for complete renewal and relaxation.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
