Rails & Tales of New Hampshire

Rails & Tales of New Hampshire

New England's fall foliage is legendary. Across the region, leaves turn from green to gold, scarlet, purple, and orange. You can look at all the pictures you want, but you will never truly experience what New Hampshire has to offer during the fall foliage season unless you come and experience it for yourself.

Following breakfast we'll meet our local guide and enjoy a narrated cruise aboard the M/S Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesauke, from Weirs Beach to Wolfeboro. Once in Wolfeboro, we'll have free time for shopping and lunch on our own in this charming village on the lake. Next, we'll enjoy a self-guided tour of Castle in the Clouds. This famous mansion captures the natural splendor of New Hampshire's Ossipee Mountains, looking down at Lake Winnipesaukee. This evening we will have dinner in the dining car of a train as we ride the rails along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
