Day 1

With a morning departure, rest and lunch stops en route, we will arrive in the Cleveland area by late afternoon. After checking-in to our lodging, we will enjoy a bit of free time to freshen up prior to our dinner cruise. Set sail on the Nautica Queen for some awesome views of the Cleveland skyline while enjoying your dinner and music. Take note as we travel under a few railroad bridges in the Flats area out to the lake!

Day 2

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will check-out and depart for the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. For more than 100 years, trains have been moving through the scenic wonders of what is now Cuyahoga Valley National Park. In 1989, a mutually beneficial partnership began for Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and the National Park and it has brought a proud distinction to each. There is no other national park in the country with a heritage railroad operating within it, providing educational and entertaining programs. Today we will enjoy a 1 ½ hour ride, through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to Akron. Upon arrival in Akron, we will pick up our box lunches and enjoy a city tour. This afternoon we will visit Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. This estate includes gardens, a greenhouse, carriage house, and the main mansion, one of the largest houses in the United States, formerly the home of Goodyear Tire co-founder Frank Seiberling. Later we travel to Berlin Encore Hotel, the location of our lodging for this evening. After free time to freshen up we depart for Warther Museum where we will enjoy a private tour and dinner. We will view the priceless collection of Ivory and Ebony steam engines carved by the world's master carver, Mooney Warther! Enjoy seeing the family home, stroll through the Swiss Gardens to Mrs. Warther's button house with over 70,000 buttons arranged in artwork, and enjoy the gift shop. Walk next door to the new Warther Cutlery Factory and Showroom showcasing the best kitchen cutlery and accessories!

Day 3

Breakfast will be included at the hotel prior to departing for the Age of Steam Roundhouse, a living, breathing roundhouse where talented restoration specialists work to preserve the locomotives, railroad cars, tools and machinery of the glory days of railroading. You will also see the largest private collection of steam locomotives in the world and discover the bells, whistles and lights that made these engines unique. This afternoon we'll visit the Dennison Depot and Museum. Here we will enjoy an interactive tour. Canteen workers will recreate what it was like when the soldiers came through town! Over a million US Servicemen passed through this quaint village earning it the nickname Dreamsville USA! After dinner we will go to the Amish Country Theater for a fun two-hour musical and comedy variety show.
