Passport Information

A passport is required for ALL travel between the U.S. and Canada.
A current passport that is valid for a least six months from the departure date of the trip is required to travel on Perkiomen Tours trips outside of the US.
Travelers are responsible to secure their own passport and to confirm that their passport meets this criteria.
Perkiomen Tours is not responsible for any issues that may occur at the border due to passport validity or lack of proof of citizenship.
If you are bringing children on the tour other than your own, customs is requiring that you have a registered letter of approval from their parents.

Day 1

Our journey begins with a scenic drive through New York State. We'll make stops for rest, lunch, and dinner along the way, arriving in Quebec City later this evening. Upon arrival, we will check- in to the luxurious Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll set out on a guided driving tour of Quebec City, the only walled city in North America. Highlights include the Plains of Abraham, the Citadelle of Quebec, and many other notable landmarks. We'll then stop at the Grand Market of Quebec, where you'll have free time to explore local vendors offering high-quality coffee, baked goods, fresh produce, handmade crafts, and more. Lunch will be on your own today. In the afternoon, we'll visit Sainte-Anne Basilica, followed by a demonstration and hands-on workshop at the Copper Studio. Dinner will be included this evening.

Day 3

Following breakfast, enjoy free time to explore Quebec City at your own pace or relax and take advantage of the hotel's amenities. Later in the morning, we'll head to the German Christmas Market. During the market, Old Quebec transforms into a charming and magical Christmas village, featuring more than 100 vendors, traditional German delights like bratwurst and pretzels, festive décor, and lively holiday celebrations-an ideal setting to soak in the spirit of the season. Lunch today will be on your own at the market. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant.

Please Be Aware

The German Christmas Market is primarily outside event spread across 5 different locations throughout Old Quebec. Locations are all within walking distance of each other. Our hotel is also a short walking distance to the Market. Please dress appropriately for the season. Walking shoes recommended.

Day 4

We will enjoy breakfast before departing for home. With stops for rest & lunch enroute, arrival home is scheduled for later this evening.

WiFi on Motorcoach

Please be aware that our on-board WiFi service will only be available during the US portion of the tour, on the way to and from the border. The service is not available in Canada.

Our intention is to run each tour as originally planned and published. However, if deemed necessary to do so, Perkiomen Tours reserves the right to make changes to tour components, schedules or itineraries without prior notification.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced
on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.

Perkiomen Tours recommends that you consider purchasing Travel Insurance for your tour. Travel Insurance is purchased directly by you from a third-party of your choice. To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitation should take this into consideration.
