Day 1

Today we depart for Hyde Park, NY to tour the home, library and museum of Franklin D. Roosevelt. This was the birthplace, lifelong home, and burial place of the 32nd President of the United States. The museum features special interactives and rarely seen artifacts that convey the dramatic story of the Roosevelt era. Today's touring will also include a visit to Val-Kill, Eleanor Roosevelt's cottage. We will then travel to Best Western Plus Kingston for our overnight stay. Dinner will be on your own at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Kinderhook, NY to tour the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, which became his home and farm during his retirement. Lunch will be included today at Wilburton Inn in Manchester, VT. After lunch we will tour Historic Hildene, the Robert Todd Lincoln's family estate. Included in the tour are the Lincoln family home and carriage barn, the Cutting and Kitchen Gardens, a restored 1903 Pullman car, and the formal garden. We will then check-in to our lodging for the next two nights at the Hampton Inn Rutland. Dinner will be on your own near the hotel.

Day 3

Following breakfast we will depart for a tour of The Coolidge Homestead, located in Plymouth Notch, VT. This was the childhood home of the 30th President of the United States and the place where he took his presidential oath of office. Lunch will be included at the Barnard Inn before visiting Billings Marsh Farm. Here we will see the livestock barns that house the farm's dairy herd, draft horses, sheep and oxen, plus extensive farm life exhibits and the fully-restored and furnished 1890 Farm House. Dinner will be on your own near the hotel.

Day 4

We will depart after breakfast for a guided tour of John F. Kennedy National Historic Site in Brookline, MA, the birthplace and childhood home of the 35th President of the United States. Later this afternoon, we will visit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Our lodging this evening will be at the Hampton Inn in Braintree, MA. Dinner will be on your own.

Day 5

After breakfast we will depart to tour Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, MA. The tour includes the birthplaces of two presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams. The motorcoach will transport us to the Presidential Birthplaces and then to the Old House with a stop at the Visitor Center before departing. Lunch is included at the Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge on our way home. Arrival home will be later this evening.
