New Year's Eve in Myrtle Beach

Day 1

Today we depart for Myrtle Beach. With stops for rest and lunch, our arrival is scheduled for mid-evening. We will check-in to our oceanfront accommodations at the Beach Cove Resort for the next 4 nights. Dinner will be at our leisure.

Day 2

This morning, after breakfast, we depart for Georgetown, SC. Here we will tour Hopsewee Plantation, one of the oldest historic preservations open to the public in the United States. Hopsewee has been preserved since its construction between 1735 and 1740 and has remained essentially the same for almost three centuries. After a tour of the Plantation home, we will enjoy Southern Tea at the River Oak Tearoom at Hopsewee, which includes savories, scones, and sweets as well as a variety of teas. We will then travel to Front Street - the Harborwalk in Historic Georgetown. Here, we'll enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on our own. You may want to tour the South Carolina Maritime Museum and/or the Kaminski House during your free time (admission not included). This evening we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by the Carolina Opry Christmas Special.

Day 3

After breakfast you are free to enjoy the morning at your leisure. Later we will depart for Barefoot Landing, a most unique and popular shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. Set along the Intracoastal Waterway and featuring a 27-acre lake, Barefoot Landing combines scenery with an outstanding selection of dining and shopping venues. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a quaint Southern shopping village. This afternoon we will celebrate the holiday in Myrtle Beach with a matinee at the Charles Bach Wonders Theatre. Illusionist Charles Bach will bring Christmas to life with incredible magic! Later, we will return to the hotel for some free time to rest and relax before our big New Year's Eve party at the hotel. Say goodbye to 2024 and ring in 2025 with dinner, music, dancing, party favors and a champagne toast.

Day 4

After breakfast, spend the morning relaxing. Later we will head to Broadway at the Beach where we will visit Ripley's Aquarium for their Festival of Trees, the largest tree display in South Carolina. Here we will also enjoy holiday tea! For dinner tonight we will enjoy a four-course feast along with fun and adventure at the Pirates Voyage Show.

Day 5

This morning, after breakfast, we will depart for home. With stops for rest and meals enroute, arrival home is scheduled for later this evening.

Beach Cove Resort does not provide pool/beach towels. Please pack accordingly.

Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
