Nashville Country Christmas

Day 1

Cruising in warmth and comfort through the lovely Shenandoah Valley of Virginia will bring us to our lodging for the evening in Wytheville, VA. Stops for rest & lunch will be made enroute. Dinner is at our leisure this evening.

Day 2

After breakfast, the Tennessee Hill Country will lead us to Nashville by mid-afternoon. Stops will be made enroute for rest & lunch. Upon arrival, we will meet our guide and depart on a driving tour of Nashville, TN. See historic downtown, Music Row, Bicentennial Park, the State Capital and so much more. Following our tour, we will check-in to the famous Gaylord Opryland Resort, one of the largest and most beautiful hotel facilities in the country. Each year, Gaylord creates a glittering holiday extravaganza, sparkling with the brilliance of nearly two million lights inside and out. Nine acres of indoor gardens are lavishly decorated with brilliant displays of holiday ornaments, huge sparkling trees, and many more surprises. Our lodging includes traditional rooms. Tonight, we are free to enjoy the resort at our leisure.

Day 3

After breakfast at the resort, we begin our day visiting Gaylord Hotel's "ICE". This incredible interactive exhibit of carvings, sculptures, and three-dimensional holiday-themed displays is handcrafted by a team of 40 expert artisans from China - all carved out of over 10 million pounds of ice. Later we'll ride on the Delta River Flatboat, winding through the indoor Delta Atrium Gardens. This evening we will enjoy an included Christmas dinner and show.

Day 4

This morning we'll have a leisurely start to the day. Enjoy breakfast & exploring the hotel before we set out for a luncheon cruise and show aboard the General Jackson Showboat, a paddleboat cruising the Cumberland River. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy Gaylord Opryland Resort at your leisure or you can join us for an optional visit to the nearby Opry Mills Mall or Downtown Nashville. Dinner is on our own.

Day 5

A leisurely morning begins our day. Sleep in, enjoy breakfast, do some last-minute shopping, or schedule a spa treatment before we check-out and depart for our lodging in Wytheville, VA. Stops for rest & lunch will be made enroute. Dinner is at our leisure.

Day 6

Following breakfast, we depart for home. Retracing our first day's route, we'll make stops for lunch and rest. Arrival back in Pennsburg is scheduled for early evening.

Our intention is to run each tour as originally planned and published. However, if deemed necessary to do so, Perkiomen Tours reserves the right to make changes to tour components, schedules or itineraries without prior notification.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.

To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitation should take this into consideration.
