Day 1

Today's unique experience begins with a guided wine tasting tour that includes the estate's wine production facility, product samples, and a souvenir glass for each guest. The tour ends at the Barn & Barrel, a beautifully restored historic barn with modern amenities, where you will sit back and enjoy an unforgettable meal that blends Lancaster County flavors with a hint of cocoa creativity.

The chef-prepared meal is served family-style in the estate's beautifully restored barn and is paired with a taste of storytelling about Milton Hershey's legacy and the region's rich chocolate history. You can also join in a lighthearted Hershey Kiss vs. Wilbur Buds taste test - and vote for your favorite hometown treat!

After lunch, visit downtown Lititz, PA. You will have free time to explore this charming, historic, and walkable small town on your own. Lititz is known for its unique boutiques, diverse dining, preserved 18th-century architecture and famous spots like Wilbur Chocolate where they still make many of their most popular treats in-house. While visiting the store, you will have the chance to watch a movie about the company's history and see other items of historic interest. You'll even be able to watch Wilbur chocolatiers dip, stir, and sprinkle some favorite Wilbur goodies. Wilbur's full collection of chocolates is all right there: handcrafted candy, Wilbur Buds, delicious gifts, and more.

Due to the nature of the included meal, it might not be possible to accommodate dietary restrictions on this tour. Restrictions, allergies, etc. will need to be communicated well in advance to determine if accommodation is possible. If communication does not take place well in advance, special requirements will not be met. Mount Hope Estate is not a restaurant open to the public and they often do not have extra items available.
