Day 1
Today we begin our journey to the two U.S. cities that are best-known for their signature sounds. Our first night's lodging will be in Abingdon, Virginia. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant this evening.
Day 2
As we continue on our southern journey, we will stop in Nashville, Tennessee for a guided tour of the world famous Opryland Hotel. After checking-in at our Nashville accommodations, we will have free time for dinner on your own. This evening we will enjoy entertainment at the Grand Ole Opry, the longest-running radio broadcast in US history. Dedicated to honoring country music and it's history, the Opry showcases a mix of famous singers and contemporary chart-toppers performing country, bluegrass, Americana, folk, and gospel music, as well as comedic performances and skits.
CBDay 3
This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of Nashville including a visit to the Ryman Auditorium. After free time for lunch on your own we will depart for Memphis. Upon arrival we will check-in to Comfort Inn Downtown Memphis for a 3-night stay. Comfort Inn Downtown Memphis overlooks the Mississippi River and is conveniently located along the trolley line and close to downtown Memphis' top attractions. Dinner will be included at a nearby restaurant.
B, DDay 4
The majority of today will be spent at Elvis Presley's Graceland. Included in our admission will be Graceland Mansion's audio guided tour and orientation film, full access to the state-of-the-art Visitor Entertainment Complex, Elvis' two custom airplanes, Elvis Presley Car Museum, Elvis: The Entertainer Career Showcase Museum, and the Elvis Discovery Exhibits. Later this afternoon we will make an optional visit to the Pyramid in the uptown section of Memphis. Dinner tonight will be included on Beale Street.
B, DDay 5
Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Memphis featuring live music and the very best of Memphis. See Beale Street, Sun Studio, Overton Park, Cotton Row, the Lorraine Motel, historic Central Gardens, lunch at Alfred's, Rock 'n' Soul Museum, and the Peabody Hotel for the Duck March. Dinner this evening will be on your own on Beale Street.
B, LDay 6
This morning we will depart for home. Stops for rest and lunch will be made along the way. Our evening's lodging will be in Abingdon, VA.
CBDay 7
We continue our homeward journey with arrival by early evening.
