Day 1

Take one of the most inspiring adventures in America at the Intrepid Air & Space Museum Complex at Pier 86. Experience a legendary aircraft carrier, the first space shuttle, the world’s fastest jets, and a Cold War-era submarine. Our tickets include entrance into the Space Shuttle Pavilion where you can view the Enterprise and seventeen dynamic exhibit zones featuring original artifacts, photographs, audio, and films that immerse visitors in the science and history of the Enterprise and the space shuttle era.

Lines to explore the inside of the Growler submarine tend to fill up quickly. We encourage you to check the line as you enter the museum and suggest planning to experience this exhibit early during your visit.

There are places at the Intrepid to purchase lunch on your own.
Aviator Grill - located on the second floor of the Welcome Center
Marketplace - located inside of the aircraft carrier on the mess deck level
A seasonal food service are is located on the pier.

10:00 AM - 4:30 PM Free time at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

A light food stop will be made on the way home, not included in the cost of the tour.

To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitation should take this into consideration.
