Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll board the motorcoach and depart for a guided tour of the Cincinnati area with time for lunch and browsing at the Mainstrasse Village in nearby Covington, KY. This region is rich with German-American tradition, culture, and architecture. Mainstrasse Village, as you can tell from the name, draws on that history to create a unique cultural attraction and is a Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Next, we'll drop our luggage at our hotel in nearby Florence, KY before heading to the Creation Museum. The Creation Museum brings the pages of the Bible to life featuring over 140 state-of-the-art exhibits divided into uniquely configured spaces that allow for personal interaction. On your walk-through biblical history, marvel at the realistic Garden of Eden, animatronic Noah, Dr. Crawley's Insectorium, Flood Dioramas, stunning video displays, and Ebenezer the stunning full-size Allosaurus. Learn about the 7 C's of history including Creation, Corruption, and Catastrophe and explore the Creation Museum's newest Exhibit - Borderland: Israel in the Time of Jesus. It greatly aids in putting the entire New Testament in context for guests and makes them excited to return home and re-read it. Tonight you will also experience Christmastown while visiting this one-of-a-kind museum. Tour the dazzling garden of lights, reflect on the true meaning of the season at the live nativity and do some unique gift shopping. Don't miss the Christmas Star Show at the Stargazer Planetarium that is included! What was the mysterious "star in the east" that heralded the birth of Jesus and guided the wise men? Discover the truth about this special star during this 4K planetarium show with stunning 3D scenes. Dinner is included at your leisure at Noah's Café. We will depart the museum by 8:00 pm and return to the hotel.

Day 3

Following a continental breakfast at the hotel, we travel to the Rookwood Pottery Factory for a guided tour. Since the first pieces were pulled from the kiln on Thanksgiving Day in 1880, their artists have continued Rookwood's 140-year tradition of transforming earthen material into works of art. Take a behind-the-scenes-tour and experience the magic behind Rookwood, their rich history, and the evolution of style that is Rookwood today. Next, climb aboard one of BB Riverboats vessels for a two-hour cruise featuring games, entertainment, and lunch while enjoying the panoramic views of Cincinnati and the Ohio River. After the cruise, travel to The Ark Encounter. The largest timber frame structure in the world and an engineering masterpiece, the Ark stands seven stories tall and spans 510 feet long (equivalent to a football field and a half long), 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. Built according to the dimensions given in the Bible, enter Noah's world and tour three decks filled with scores of stunning exhibits that will allow you to experience what his life may have been like while on the Ark. According to the Bible, Noah's Ark was a safe haven for representatives of all kinds of air-breathing land animals and flying creatures. Ark researchers estimate a maximum of around 7,000 animals were on board, and Noah and his family still had sufficient space for food, water and other storage. How did Noah fit all the animals on board? How did Noah care for all the animals? How did Noah build the Ark? These questions and much more about the year-long global flood may be answered in the mind-blowing and thought-provoking exhibits. Get your camera ready to photograph the life-sized Noah's Ark, the lake, and the gardens illuminated in a stunning sea of rainbow-colored lights in the Ark's presentation of Christmastime. Dinner at Emzara's Restaurant is included at your leisure while at the Ark. We will depart by 8:00 pm and return to the hotel.
