Holiday Pops In Boston

Day 1

Sit back and relax as we head to Boston for a Holiday Getaway. Upon arrival, we will stop at Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall for some free time and holiday shopping before departing for dinner at a local restaurant. Our lodging for the next two nights will be at the Doubletree Boston Downtown.

Day 2

After breakfast we will meet our local guide for a narrated driving tour of Boston. The guide will give narration of the local historical sites and the area's holiday traditions. Each guest will receive a holiday stocking from the guide and during our touring you will receive a stocking gift at each stop. We will visit Trinity Church for a pipe organ concert (please note - this is not Christmas music), followed by an included lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will head to Cheers where we will make Gingerbread Houses to take home and enjoy an included dinner. Next, we will head to the Boston Pops Christmas Concert at Symphony Hall.

Attire Note

While there is no dress code for Boston Symphony and Boston Pops performances, patrons generally wear semi-formal, elegant, and business attire.

Day 3

After breakfast we will check-out of the hotel and head to the Mapparium at the Christian Science Church. Here, we will see the world-famous, three-story, stained-glass globe which is viewed from a 30-foot-long bridge through its interior. The Mapparium's three-dimensional perspective of the world of 1935 is enhanced by A World of Ideas, an original presentation that features a rich orchestration of words, music, and LED lights to illustrate how ideas have traversed time and geography and changed the world. We will then depart for home. With stops for rest and lunch we will arrive in Pennsburg this evening.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
