Day 3

We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing with our local guide to Mendon Mountain Orchards. A 3-generation, family-owned historic apple orchard with a farm story and bakery full of tasty Vermont goodies. You'll likely see their chickens roaming the property! We'll continue to the New England Maple Museum for a historic journey through Vermont's maple sugaring from indigenous times to the present, and home to the world's largest jug of maple syrup. We will enjoy lunch on our own with free time in Middlebury, before a stop at Danforth Pewter to see artisans at work creating beautiful pewter products, while learning the history of the timeless metal. A visit to Blue Ledge Farm will follow, a first-generation family-owned dairy and cheese making operation with a mission to create a high-quality product, built on the cornerstone of respect for the land, animals, consumers and the local community. Dinner this evening includes a live Vermont Chef cooking demo with recipes, cooking tips and a TASTE of the gourmet results!

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
