Day 1
Today we depart for Vermont. With stops for rest & lunch, we will arrive at our overnight accommodations by late afternoon. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant.
DDay 2
This morning, after breakfast, we will depart with a local guide for a day of touring. First, we will visit Vermont Marble Museum, see Marble Chapel, Hall of Presidents, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and any more marble exhibits at your own pace. Next, we will stop for a photo at our first covered bridge, Gorham Bridge. Gorham Bridge is a Town Lattice Truss bridge that crosses over Otter Creek. Next we'll enjoy a self-guided visit to the New England Maple Museum. After an included lunch we will visit Pulp Mill Covered Bridge. This 2-lane divided bridge is a King Post with Burr Arch and said to be one of the oldest covered bridges in the country. Next, we will travel to Vermont Flannel Company for shopping and to see our last covered bridge of the day. Spade Farm Covered Bridge also known as "Old Hollow" is a Town Lattice bridge that found its final resting place in 1958 when a local farmer moved it to his farm after it was slated to be dismantled. Dinner will be on your own this evening.
B, LDay 3
Following breakfast we will depart with our local guide for Quechee Gorge, Vermont's "Little Grand Canyon". We will stop for a photo at Quechee Covered Bridge, the newest bridge we will see. This steel bridge was rebuilt in 2012 due to being washed away by Hurricane Irene in 2011. Lunch will be on your own in Woodstock, VA. Following lunch, we will visit Middle Covered Bridge before visiting Billings Farm & Museum. During our self-guided tour we visit their working dairy farm, livestock, nursery, manager's house, and museum. Next, we will visit the birthplace and childhood home of President Calvin Coolidge. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we must depart for home. With stops for rest and lunch enroute, arrival home is scheduled for late afternoon.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.
Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
