Day 1

Today we travel to Grove City, OH. A lunch and rest stop will be made enroute. Upon arrival, we will check-in to our overnight accommodations. Dinner will be on your own.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head for a guided tour of Rookwood Pottery. From the moment the first pieces have been pulled from the kiln on Thanksgiving Day in 1880, Rookwood's artists have continued the 140-year tradition of transforming earthen materials into works of art. Go behind-the-scenes and experience the magic, history, and evolution of style and color that is Rookwood today. We will then head to the second oldest, and one of the largest zoo collections in the United States. The Cincinnati Zoo's 75 acres houses over 580 animal species and 3,000 plant species. Lunch will be on your own as you explore the zoo. Next, we will visit the Krohn Conservatory, built in 1933 at the height of the Art Deco era and showcasing more than 3,500 plant species from around the world. We will end our day dining on the river, taking in the skyline while we enjoy music and a fantastic meal aboard the BB Riverboat's Captain's Dinner Cruise. After the cruise, we will check-in to our lodging for the next two evenings.

Day 3

Following breakfast, we will meet our guide and be led on a journey of Cincinnati, exploring the city and learning about local history, art, architecture, and more. We will then be split into two groups, with one group touring Findlay Market, while the other group heads across the street to Tablespoon Cooking Co. for a cooking class! Here you will hone your kitchen skills and experience the joy of cooking in this interactive cooking class. Each group then switches activities - before reuniting to eat your prepared luncheon. The afternoon will conclude with a guided tour of Rhinegeist Brewery, learning it's history and even enjoying a pint! This evening will be spent taking in the sights and sounds of a downtown Cincinnati neighborhood called Over-the-Rhine, home to an impressive variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant before heading back to our hotel.
