Today we will head south to Charlotte, NC. With stops for rest and lunch on the way, we will check-in to our hotel before having dinner on our own.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will discover Uptown Charlotte and venture into beautiful historic neighborhoods with a step-on guided tour of the city. We then head full throttle to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. This interactive attraction honors the history and heritage of one of America's best loved sports, paying tribute to those that have impacted it's past, present and future. Lunch will be on our own before our next stop, The Mint Museum - Uptown. Established in 1936, this cultural institution showcases international and American art and design. We then return to our hotel to rest and refresh before an included dinner and show at NarroWay Productions, "The Broadway of Christian Entertainment."
B, DDay 3
Following breakfast this morning, we will pay a visit to the Billy Graham Library. The complex includes Billy's childhood home built in 1927 on their dairy farm about four miles away from the library. It has been restored with family photos and personal items of the Graham family. The library building has been styled after the farm's dairy barn and continues the legacy of Billy's ministry and message. After lunch on our own, aviation will be brought to life as we explore the aircraft, artifacts and interactive exhibits of the Sullenberger Aviation Museum. The museum is home to iconic aircraft and treasures including the very plane safely landed in New York's Hudson River on January 15, 2009, by Capt. "Sully" Sullenberger. We will return to our hotel to rest and refresh before enjoying an included dinner at a local restaurant, and an evening show at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we will depart from our hotel and the "Queen City", Charlotte, NC to return home. With stops for rest and lunch enroute, arrival home is planned for later this evening.
