A Day in Lititz

Day 1

Lititz was founded in 1756 by Count Nicholas von Zinzendorf, whom also had founded the modern day Moravian Church and was named after a Bavarian castle known as Litice. Most of the homes and buildings that stand in the town date back to this era and have been stunningly & historically restored, making downtown Lititz a must-see location. These buildings now harbor many of Lititz's unique boutiques, shops, and taverns.

10:00 AM Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery - the first commercial pretzel bakery in America.
11:00 AM Lititz Moravian Church Tour - learn about the history and traditions of the Moravians.
12:30 PM Included lunch at local resturant
1:45 PM Free time in Lititz for shopping and exploring on your own
3:30 PM Depart Lititz
