Today we travel to America's first Botanic Garden which showcases the Bartram Collection of North American Plants and the Bartram House, a one-of-a-kind structure and National Historic Landmark. learn about John and William Bartram's preservation and propagation of native flowers, shrubs and trees.

After an included gourmet box lunch, we'll complete our day at the 17th century authentic Shoin-Style Japanese House & Garden in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. This garden was built in 1954 as a gift from the Japanese people to America for the Museum of Modern Art. Shofuso is the only house of its kind outside of Japan and is considered a major cultural asset to the city and an international tourist attraction.
