If you like crabs, you'll love this tour. Our day begins with traveling through lush pine forests and over waterways to the quaint Waterman's Village of Hoopers Island in the heart of Chesapeake Country on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

We'll enjoy a tour of a local Crab Factory on Hoopers Island to see how the Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab is processed for shipping.

Then we're off to explore the Chesapeke Bay and Honga River aboard the "Sawyer", which will take us on a narrated cruise. Savor the scenery as you observe local watermen at work.

After working up an appetite, we will have a delicious seafood buffet at "Old Salty's" Restaurant on Hoopers Island. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, eastern hospitality and home cooking!

Our last stop is at the Visitor Center of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge near Church Creek. Here you will enjoy nature exhibits, a short movie, gift shop and stroll through the beautifully landscaped Butterfly Garden before departing for home.
