Your day starts with free time for shopping and lunch on your own at Kitchen Kettle Village. Then we'll travel to the Amish Experience Theatre, only the third "experiential" theatre in America. The state of the art technology and a three dimensional barnyard setting puts you into the emotional story that portrays an Amish teenager experiencing a generation gap with his family. He struggles with having to choose between his traditional Amish values and the allure of the modern world.

After the theatre, we'll head back to the country, completely surrounded by real Amish farms, for a guided tour of an actual Amish Homestead. The Homestead is designated a "Heritage Site" in Lancaster County, with the "lived-in" look of an Amish house today. Get answers to those questions you have about the Amish Lifestyle.

Our tour continues as our step-on guide provides the insight of a local resident combined with knowledge of Amish Culture. You'll see one room schools, Amish working in the fields with horses, or the new cottage industries.

After our tour, we'll enjoy an included dinner at Plain & Fancy Restaurant.
