Monday, June 20
Your Cape Cod adventure begins when we board our deluxe motorcoach for a relaxing ride through New England to lovely Cape Cod. This evening we will be treated to dinner at our hotel. D
Tuesday, June 21
Our guide will point out the sights as we travel country roads to the tip of the Cape - Provincetown. Enroute we’ll have photo opportunities of the Cape Cod National Seashore at the Salt Pond Visitors Center and at the Cape Cod Lighthouse. After free time for lunch and shopping in Provincetown, we will board a sightseeing boat for a cruise to the whale’s feeding grounds. B
Wednesday, June 22
After a leisurely start we will travel to Sandwich, MA, the oldest community on the Cape, where we will visit the Sandwich Glass Museum and the Green Brier Jam Kitchen. At Sandwich Glass we’ll see displays of the kinds of glass manufactured here during the 19th century. The Jam Kitchen is a “living museum” where you can view the cooking process first-hand. Following a delicious lunch at the very charming Daniel Webster Inn, we will visit the Heritage Plantation, a 76-acre site displaying exhibits pertaining to American Life. The museum includes an exceptional collection of antique cars, antique guns, an operating antique carousel, art displays and much, much more. Later this afternoon you can enjoy the indoor pool back at our hotel, or shop and dine in downtown Hyannis. B, L
Thursday, June 23
Today we will visit Nantucket Island. A relaxing ferryboat ride, an island tour, and free time to take in the unique sights will highlight our day. A delicious lobster bake dinner is planned for this evening. B, D
Friday, June 24
Today we leave Cape Cod behind as we head for home. Our arrival home is scheduled for early evening. B
