Known as the Grand Strand, the Myrtle Beach area is home to an array of historic, cultural and eco-tour adventures. The center of the 60-mile long Grand Strand coastal area, Myrtle Beach has long been a popular vacation spot. Some parts of it – the boardwalk, the amusement parks – go back to the classic vacation days of yesteryear, but Myrtle Beach knew better than to rest on its laurels. In the 1990’s the city went through a growth spurt that added a lot of new attractions, which is in part what draws 11 million visitors to the Grand Strand area each year.

Monday, June 6
Arrive at your overnight stop where you will check into your hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by a leisurely evening. D

Tuesday, June 7
After breakfast, check out and depart for Myrtle Beach, SC where upon arrival you will have a brief orientation about the famous Myrtle Beach “Grand Strand” area. After check-in at your motel, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the fine restaurants in the area. B,D

Wednesday, June 8
This morning, enjoy a Jazz Brunch at the House of Blues featuring jazz music and an amazing buffet to feed the body and soul. Afterwards, you will have time to browse at the Village of Barefoot Landing, a unique shopping complex. Enjoy the afternoon at the beach or poolside. This evening you will enjoy dinner, followed by entertainment at the Alabama Theatre. B,D

Thursday, June 9
Following breakfast, you will depart on a beautiful day trip to the historic town of Charleston, SC. Upon arrival you will have time to spend at the Historic Charleston Market. Then you will enjoy a scenic Harbor Cruise of Charleston. Cruise past the famous Battery, Patriots Point, and Fort Sumter. After the cruise we’ll return to Myrtle Beach. Dinner this evening will be at another of the beautiful restaurants of the Grand Strand, and then we’ll enjoy a fabulous show at the Carolina Opry. B,D

Friday, June 10
Enjoy breakfast, and then visit Broadway At The Beach, a complex featuring shopping, dining and entertainment. You will also enjoy a backstage tour of the Alabama Theatre. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon. This evening enjoy a delicious dinner at Phillips Crab House, followed by the show, “Le Grande Cirque”. This spellbinding production features a huge cast of over 50 world class acrobats, jugglers and performers from China, Russia, Monte Carlo and Europe. B,D

Saturday, June 11
Following breakfast, check out and depart for your overnight stop where dinner and lodging have been arranged for you. B,D

Following breakfast, check out and prepare for your departure home. B
