Saturday, November 27
Today we continue south to Beaufort, SC where we will enjoy lunch on our own before a guided carriage tour of Beaufort, the second oldest town in the state. A picturesque old port town, Beaufort still retains an atmosphere of an earlier day to a remarkable degree. By late afternoon we arrive in Savannah, our home for the next three evenings. This evening you will enjoy a dinner buffet with entertainment aboard Savannah Riverboat Cruises. Enjoy the best view in the house for the 9th Annual Boat Parade of Lights with yachts, tugs & other private vessels decorated for the holidays! A fireworks display on River Street will take place simultaneously and conclude our evening. CB,D
Sunday, November 28
This morning we will get to know Savannah from the comfort of our motorcoach. This “windshield” driving tour of Savannah may include some walking. Highlights include historic buildings, monuments, mansions, churches and the Savannah History Museum. Lunch will be on your own. This afternoon we will enjoy a Christmas Show at the Savannah Theatre. Dinner will be included at the River House Seafood Restaurant followed by an evening stroll along River Street for those who would like to participate. CB,D
Monday, November 29
Today will begin with a Low Country Tour. Enjoy the beautiful view of salt water marshes as we travel to Savannah’s beach at Tybee Island. Here we experience the feel of a quaint 1950’s beach community and we will catch sight of Georgia’s oldest and tallest active lighthouse. A stop at Byrd Cookie Company offers you a chance to sample their delicious cookies. Later this afternoon we will tour the Juliette Low Birthplace followed by the Savannah Harbor Gingerbread Village and Winter Wonderland. After dinner at Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room we will enjoy the Holly Jolly Trolley Tour. Enjoy caroling and tales of Holiday traditions aboard a festively decorated trolley. Our tour includes a tour of the historic Davenport House and tasty treats at Savannah’s Candy Kitchen. CB,D

After a leisurely morning we will check out and depart for home. Our lodging this evening will be in Fayetteville, NC. CB
