Motorcoach Boarding Locations: Allentown, Quakertown, Souderton, Montgomeryville

Upon arrival, you'll receive a "Carolina Welcome" and a tour of the Museum of Rural Life, which features the challenges of early American life in a rural, agricultural community.

The next stop is the Choptank River Heritage Center, a rebuilt steam boat warehouse and wharf from the 1770's, complete with a land based Chesapeak Skipjack.

We'll travel to Hidden Acres Farm for an included lunch and an enchanting visit to a Clydesdale Farm. These magnificent horses are a real treat up close and they will take you on a horse drawn wagon ride. From here we'll have a guided tour of Adkins Arboretum, a 400 acre Native Garden and Preserve with leisurely interpretive pathways through native woodlands, meadow, wetlands, streams and wildlife.

Our day ends with a visit to the Emerson House Restaurant for an ice cream treat!
