Saturday, October 30
Today we depart on a two-day getaway to Gettysburg, PA, known for its’ involvement in one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the Visitor’s Center. This new facility brings to life the most extensive Civil War collections in the National Park Service. After a box lunch, we’ll depart on a 2 hour tour of the battlefield with a guide. After checking into our hotel, we will have an included dinner. This evening, an optional Ghost Tour is available for an additional $13 per person. L, D

Sunday, October 31
This morning after breakfast, we will visit the US Christian Commission, the first and only Civil War Museum of its kind! The US Christian Commission Museum is dedicated to telling the story of faith during the Civil War. Lunch will be included today at the Dobbin House Restaurant. This afternoon, we’ll visit the Historic Round Barn and Farm Market and the National Apple Museum. The Apple Museum is housed in a restored pre-Civil War bank barn and includes exhibits of early picking, packing and shipping. Our arrival home is scheduled for early evening. B, L
