Monday, August 3
Today we begin our amazing Niagara USA adventure, from the breathtaking sights and sounds of majestic Niagara Falls, to world-class dining and museums. Our lodging for the next three nights will be at the Comfort Inn, closest hotel to the falls! This evening we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Upper Niagara River aboard the Grand Lady. D

Tuesday, August 4
Following a continental breakfast we will spend the day at the Niagara Falls State Park. At the Niagara Falls Visitor Center we will learn about the area through interpretive displays and exhibits. We will then view the film Niagara: Legends of Adventure at Niagara Adventure Theater. Next we are off to the Observation Tower. The Tower’s observation deck extends over the Niagara Gorge and is the only place in the USA to view both the American and Horseshoe Falls at the same time! You will have free time in the visitor’s center for lunch on your own before boarding the Maid of the Mist for a cruise to the base of the American Falls, then to the basin of the Horseshoe Falls. After our cruise, you will come face-to-face with the pounding waters of Niagara Falls at the Cave of the Winds. Dinner this evening will be at the Top of the Falls Restaurant where we will enjoy breathtaking views overlooking Terrapin Point and Horseshoe Falls. CB, D

Wednesday, August 5
After breakfast we’ll visit the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. Since the Ice Age ended, the Falls have been the scene of constant change. Through interactive displays, fossil and rock specimens, a multi-screen presentation and an exciting elevator ride, you’ll see how plant and animal life developed and rivers and lakes were created. We will then visit the Aquarium of Niagara. More than 1,500 aquatic animals are on display here including penguins, California sea lions, piranhas, seals, eels and sharks. Enjoy the beautiful Niagara River scenic drive on the way to the historic village of Lewiston for lunch on your own at a variety of local restaurants. Following lunch we will visit the Power Vista Visitors Center at the Robert Moses Power Plant for a spectacular view of the lower Niagara River Gorge, Major Niagara Diorama and hands on exhibits. Next we will tour Old Fort Niagara built in 1726 and located on the shore of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario, featuring uniformed soldiers, musket firings and the newly restored historic American Flag from the War of 1812 displayed in the Visitors Center. Dinner this evening will be at the Hard Rock Café in Niagara Falls. CB, D

Thursday, August 6
