Some visitors may be lured to Kentucky by the traditional music, folklore, history and beautiful horse farms. Others come to enjoy the many recreational opportunities afforded by Kentucky’s parks. Our journey through the “Bluegrass State” will combine both. Touring westward across Pennsylvania and into West Virginia will bring us to our lodging for the night in Charleston, WV.

Our tour includes a visit to Churchill Weavers were we’ll view workers at work on 100 looms. Our lodging for the next two evenings is at Historic Boone Tavern Hotel. Built on the old “Dixie Highway”, and named after early Kentucky explorer Daniel Boone, this historic hotel and restaurant is prominently located on the College Square.
