Thursday, October 8 – Saturday, October 10
Stops will be made for rest and lunch as we travel south to the Jamestown Settlement, the first permanent English-speaking settlement in North America. Here you can climb aboard replicas of the ships that brought the first settlers to Virginia as well as experience life as it was in the early days of the colony. Our lodging for the next three evenings will be at the Hampton Inn and Suites. 2CB

Sunday, October 11
This morning we will visit the Yorktown Victory Center where the troops of General George Washington defeated the British in the last major battle of the American Revolution. Late this morning it’s time to turn toward home, but our route will be via the spectacular Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Arrival home will be by early evening. CB
