This morning we head south for a Virginia getaway. Our first stop will be at Shenandoah Vineyards where we will enjoy a lunch and tour. We will then travel into the Shenandoah National Park to our lodging at the Skyland Resort. Your visit to Skyland Resort will take you back in time –enjoy a variety of activities, stroll along the trails, take in the views of the valley below while dining and stargaze at night. Experience all Shenandoah has to offer. L

Saturday, June 20
This morning, after breakfast, we will enjoy a guided tour traveling the historic Skyline Drive, with lush forests, streams, waterfalls and wildflowers, the Park is a nature lovers paradise. Enjoy the extraordinary views and scenery. Lunch will be included at the Michie Tavern. This afternoon we will tour the home and gardens of Thomas Jefferson at Monticello. We will then return to the resort for dinner at your leisure. B,L

Sunday, June 21
A breakfast at the hotel will start our day before we check out and head north. Enroute home we will visit Shenandoah Caverns and American Celebration on Parade, combining natural beauty, pageantry and patriotism. American Celebration on Parade exhibits famous parade floats, props and settings from important events in America’s entertainment and political history. We will make a stop for lunch on our own before arriving home this evening. B
