After dinner at a popular restaurant we will drive along the McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach! With more than 250 light displays using over 400,000 bulbs, Virginia Beach shines for 25 blocks. Delight in the two-mile illuminated journey surrounded by festive fish, colorful sailboats, jumping dolphins and Santa Claus himself in a variety of animated nautical and holiday themes. D
SECOND DAY
After an included breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for a tour of the Norfolk Naval Station.* This is homeport to more than 80 ships of the Atlantic Fleet, and the world’s largest naval installation. Our narrated tour passes by Atlantic Fleet training centers, aircraft carriers, cruisers and destroyers, amphibious assault vessels and sleek submarines. We will enjoy lunch on our own at Waterside Festival Marketplace in downtown Norfolk. This afternoon we will tour the Nauticus, an exciting science and technology center exploring the power of the sea. Included in our afternoon touring is the Battleship USS Wisconsin and the Douglas MacArthur Memorial. This evening we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Norfolk. B,D
